At Growing IQ, we believe the early experiences of cognitive reasoning provide the foundation for all future learning. Our mission is to make math learning fun and applicable for all children, from the highly gifted and talented to struggling children by engaging them in collaborative, sensory-rich experiences; empowering them to analyze, reason, discover, think critically and take ownership of their mathematical learning. Critical thinking, logical analysis, spatial reasoning, and communication are at the center of our methodology and curriculum, where we introduce advanced mathematical concepts through the use of manipulatives and interactive materials to stimulate the right-brain.

Our classes are discovery-based and highly energetic, focusing on developing self-driven inquiries, fostering problem-solving skills, emphasizing group communication skills, and developing mathematical thinking. We strive to create a generation of problem solvers who can contribute to and thrive in an evolving global community.

Liability Release: I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that Growing IQ does not operate as a licensed childcare facility. Agreement to this release warrants that participation in Growing IQ programs is voluntary and I, the parent/ legal guardian, give my consent for my child(ren) to participate in the program provided by Growing IQ, and I, the parent/ legal guardian, also agree to fully assume all liabilities for my child(ren), including but not limited to any and all injuries, illness or damages that may occur as a result of participation in the Growing IQ programs. In case of an emergency, I hereby give my consent and authorize Growing IQ to call 911 as the agent for my child(ren), and consent to any medical diagnosis or treatment and hospital care rendered by and under the general supervision and advice of a licensed physician or surgeon. I, the parent / legal guardian, also understand that Growing IQ reserves the right to dismiss any student who demonstrates inappropriate conduct at the premises. I also agree that I, the parent/legal guardian, or any agents on our behalf, will not bring any lawsuits nor make any demands nor pursue any claims against Growing IQ and all associated personnel involved including but not limited to its officers, trustees, directors, members, managers, employees, teachers, contractors, volunteers, agents and representatives. I hereby expressly waive any and all claims against Growing IQ, and I do hereby release, absolve, forever discharge, and do further agree to indemnify and fully release Growing IQ, and all associated personnel involved including but not limited to its officers, trustees, directors, members, managers, employees, teachers, contractors, volunteers, agents and representatives harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses, and/or expenses arising out of participation in the program offered by Growing IQ.

Confidentiality: I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that all personal information of Growing IQ customers and students are kept confidential. Information pertaining to admission, progress, or discharge of a student will remain confidential unless we have written permission for disclosure from the parent / legal guardian. I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that Growing IQ does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, or national or ethnic origin in the admission of a student to our programs or in the administration of our policies and procedures. I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that while Growing IQ does not discriminate against students with special needs, all Growing IQ teachers may not be special-needs certified.

Photo Release: I, the parent / legal guardian, do hereby give my permission for Growing IQ, its employees or agents to take photographs, audios, or videos of myself or the student. I, the parent/legal guardian understand and agree that these photographs/videos/audios will remain the property of Growing IQ. I, the parent/legal guardian further consent that the student identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary and I do hereby release Growing IQ, its agents, and employees all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form for internal use, advertising or marketing campaigns on Growing IQ’s websites, and for promotional and informational material including, but not limited to, flyers, brochures, newsletters, emails, advertisements, social media, newspaper articles, television or cable interviews/promotions. I, the parent/legal guardian waive any rights, claims or interest I may have to control the use of the student identity or likeness in whatever media used, and I also understand that there will be no compensation for the release.

Fee: I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that there is no long-term contract with Growing IQ and new student enrollment during mid-month will be prorated. I, the parent / legal guardian, understand and agree that although the number of lessons varies from month to month, including declared public holidays, the monthly tuition fee remains unchanged. I, further understand that a registration fee will be charged at the beginning of each Growing IQ and Math Music Motion level. I, also understand that a $30 fee will be charged for all declined and/or late payments. I hereby give my permission to enter/validate my billing information into Growing IQ’s billing system and authorize Growing IQ to initiate automatic payment with provided payment method information for the tuition fee on the 1st of the month. I, the parent / legal guardian, also understand and agree that all charges are non-refundable and non-transferable. If fees are not paid pursuant to the terms and conditions, I, the parent/legal guardian understand that Growing IQ will turn all unpaid balances over to collection agency and agree to be responsible for all collection costs. I understand and agree that Growing IQ occasionally will offer special sign-up promotions and/or incentives ONLY for new enrolling families and that it may NOT be available for existing registered customers. I, the parent / legal guardian, understand and agree that Growing IQ reserves the right to increase tuition and other charges upon prior notice.

Schedule: I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that my child(ren) group class meets at the scheduled time and agree that student on-time drop-off/pick-up in the enrolled class schedule is solely the parent / legal guardian responsibility. I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that Growing IQ requires the parent / legal guardian to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to class end schedule for a brief class update and I agree to be on time for the same. I, the parent / legal guardian, also understand that any child who is not picked up will be under the supervision of management and late pick-up procedure will be followed. For any class schedule change request, I, the parent / legal guardian agree to give 30 days advance notice.

Late Pick-Up: I, the parent / legal guardian, agree to maintain updated contact information including emergency contacts, other than parents, in the enrolled child’s record at all times. Also, agree to notify Growing IQ office prior to the child’s enrolled program end schedule if I know that I am going to be late for pick up.  I, the parent / legal guardian, also further understand that if a parent / legal guardian / authorized pick-up person does not arrive or call by 5 minutes past the child’s enrolled program end schedule, Growing IQ will assume an emergency exists and will begin to call emergency contacts for the enrolled child. If no emergency contact can be reached within 1-hour past the child’s enrolled program end schedule, Growing IQ staff will contact 911.  I, the parent / legal guardian, understand the continued disregard for the program end schedule or failure to pay late pick-up fees can cause the child’s termination from the Growing IQ program and I understand that all information about the incident will be discussed directly with the parent / legal guardian and never with the child. Upon late pick-up, after the child’s enrolled end schedule, I, the parent / legal guardian agrees to pay a late pick-up fee of $1 per minute.

Makeup: I, the parent / legal guardian of the student attending class(es) offered by Growing IQ, understand that Growing IQ classes are group classes and agree to be responsible for student’s class schedule. Also, understand that makeup class will be offered either as in-class makeup or as 1-on-1 makeup class for half the class time depending on availability and agree to adhere to the advance notice process. I, the parent / legal guardian further understand that a maximum of SIX makeup class requests per calendar year is part of the tuition with a limit of 1 makeup class for a month and any additional makeup/catchup class request will be charged an additional fee. Any exceptions to the makeup policy will have to be discussed with the office prior to the absence. To qualify for makeup class request, I, the parent / legal guardian agree to notify Growing IQ via email to frisco@txgrowingiq.com at least 24 hours in advance for any planned absence and at least 1 hour prior to class start time for any student illness. Failure to adhere to the advance notice process for the scheduled class will result in forfeiture of the class and will not be eligible for a makeup class request. I, the parent / legal guardian also agree that missed/scheduled/makeup /catchup classes will neither be discounted nor prorated and will not be rescheduled. If Growing IQ determines the need to cancel the class(es) at Growing IQ location due to weather or any other reason, I, the parent / legal guardian understand that Growing IQ will inform the parent / legal guardian at least 1-hour in advance to the class schedule and will agree to the rescheduled class. I, the parent / legal guardian of the student attending Math Music Motion program conducted at the student’s school, understand and agree that makeup class will not be offered for Math Music Motion class if the student is absent or for the days the school is closed due to weather or any other reason.

Vacation/ Withdrawal/ Cancellation: I, the parent / legal guardian of the student understand that any verbal communication or absence does not constitute vacation/withdrawal/cancellation from Growing IQ. To suspend/cancel the automatic charges, I, the parent / legal guardian of the student attending classes at the Growing IQ Texas location, understand and agree to provide a written email notification to frisco@txgrowingiq.com ONE FULL MONTH PRIOR TO THE 1ST OF THE MONTH. If one full month withdrawal notice is not provided, I, the parent / legal guardian of the student agree to pay for the entire month’s tuition. I further understand and agree that mid-month notification will not be eligible for partial reimbursements/prorated fees. (For example: For any withdrawal or termination email received on May 10th, the last day at Growing IQ would be June 30th). Further, I also understand that to suspend the automatic payment, I agree to provide the return date no later than 2 months. In the event of a return to the Growing IQ program after a ‘non-payment’ break for more than 2 months, I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that the student will be grouped based on availability/opening at that time and the registration fee will be applied. Upon cancellation/withdrawal from an enrolled class, I, the parent/ legal guardian, understand and agree that student relinquishes their space from their current registered class.

I, the parent / legal guardian of the student in the Math Music Motion program conducted at the student’s school and/or Growing IQ, understand and agree to send a written email notification to frisco@txgrowingiq.com on or before the first day of the current semester/session for cancellation of my child’s enrollment in following semester/session (or) I will be obligated to pay for next semester/session’s tuition fee.

I, the parent / legal guardian of the student agree not to dispute through my financial institution. Should I dispute a charge through my financial institution, I understand and agree that it will constitute a breach of contract possibly resulting in, but not limited to, penalties, additional fees, collection, legal action, and/or termination of any and/or all current and future services.

​

Communications: I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that Growing IQ practices open communication policy and agree to maintain valid contact information (including emergency contacts) in the enrolled child’s record at all times to receive communication via emails, calls or texts from Growing IQ for weather updates, school closure information, parent notifications, newsletters, and promotions. In a situation when I do not receive Growing IQ emails, I agree to check the SPAM or junk email folder. I also agree to participate in the weekly class briefing, and scheduled student progress meetings.

Faculty: I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that every employee at Growing IQ is held to the highest standards and completes a rigorous pre-employment screening and training process. I, the parent / legal guardian, understand and agree that Growing IQ staff will not exchange personal information with the parents and I will NOT solicit Growing IQ staff for work outside of Growing IQ at any time.

Cell Phone Policy: I, the parent/ legal guardian, understand and agree that cell phones can cause distractions and students are not allowed to use a cell phone inside the classroom.

Food & Beverage: I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that Growing IQ is nut-free premises and snacks are not allowed inside the classroom. On occasions when a student brings a nut-free snack, considering the food allergy sensitivity of other students in the classroom, I, the parent / legal guardian, understand and agree that student will be asked to consume nut-free snack in the front lobby or in a different room. For students with any food restrictions, I, the parent / legal guardian, agree to take full responsibility for my child’s dietary needs and will send nut-free snacks accordingly.

Camp: I, the parent / legal guardian, agree to pay the camp fee for the registered days. I hereby give my permission to enter my billing information into the Growing IQ’s billing system and understand that I will receive invoice/payment confirmation/schedule payment/charge from Growing IQ billing system. I, the parent / legal guardian, also understand and agree that all charges are non-refundable and non-transferable. For the students attending camp at Growing IQ, I, the parent / legal guardian, agree to send nut-free food and water bottle along with my child(ren), and I also give my permission to Growing IQ to provide nut-free snacks. For any food restrictions for my child, I agree to take full responsibility for my child’s dietary needs and will send nut-free snacks accordingly.

I, the parent / legal guardian, have read, understand and agree to all of the above terms of service, and give my consent for my child(ren) to enroll in the Growing IQ program(s). I also agree to be included in the Growing IQ mailing lists to receive other communications from Growing IQ. I, the parent / legal guardian, also understand and agree that Growing IQ reserves the right to change, revise, supplement, or delete any of our policies and procedures, including all those covered herein, at any time. I, the parent / legal guardian, understand that changes will be effective on the dates determined by Growing IQ and will be communicated to parents within a reasonable time.
